InstallerHub is a lead matching service that connects homeowners with independent local tradespeople across Scotland. InstallerHub is operated by InstallerHub Ltd, a company registered in Scotland.
InstallerHub acts solely as an introduction service. We match homeowners with tradespeople based on trade, location and availability. We are not a party to any contract formed between a homeowner and a tradesman. Any agreement for work is made directly between the homeowner and the tradesman.
All tradespeople listed on the InstallerHub network are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents or representatives of InstallerHub. InstallerHub does not supervise, direct or control the work carried out by any tradesman on the network.
InstallerHub accepts no responsibility or liability for:
• The quality of work carried out by any tradesman
• Any damage, loss or injury caused during or after work is completed
• Any dispute between a homeowner and a tradesman
• Any failure by a tradesman to attend, complete or charge fairly for work
Any disputes regarding workmanship, damage or payment must be resolved directly between the homeowner and the tradesman.
By joining the InstallerHub network, all tradespeople confirm that they:
• Hold valid public liability insurance
• Are fully qualified to carry out the trades they accept
• Hold any legally required certifications (e.g. Gas Safe registration for gas work, NICEIC/NAPIT registration for electrical work)
• Will contact leads promptly and professionally
• Will represent InstallerHub's values of quality and reliability
InstallerHub reserves the right to remove any tradesman from the network at any time without notice.
InstallerHub does not guarantee that:
• Homeowners will proceed with any job
• Tradesmen will win any specific number of jobs
• Leads will result in paid work
Lead volume varies and is dependent on homeowner demand in each area.
Installer membership is charged at the current monthly rate as displayed on the InstallerHub website. Membership fees are non-refundable except at the sole discretion of InstallerHub. Members may cancel their subscription at any time with no notice period required.
Homeowner contact details are shared with matched tradespeople solely for the purpose of quoting and carrying out the requested work. Tradespeople must not use homeowner data for any other purpose or share it with third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InstallerHub's total liability to any party shall not exceed the monthly membership fee paid in the month in which any claim arises.
InstallerHub reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service following any update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
